"Guilty as charged" I thought to myself when I read Fons Mans newsletter this week. I've been designing for 10 years this year (OMG!), and I have a 'process' for pretty much every type of design project. While optimizing for speed and efficiency, I think I may over-optimized and do work following the same process if they fit my parameters. So I'm doing something different, and choosing an 'inefficient' tool to do my graphic design and layout work in Affinity, rather than Adobe and Figma. What are you doing differently today?

Stop designing on autopilot

Most designers don’t plateau because their skills stop improving. They plateau because their habits slowly start making decisions for them.
