My Entry for the Base44 Challenge:
ENCORE: is a web platform that helps event organizers hand leftover, non-food materials to local non-profits before the venue’s cleanup deadline.
The problem: After an event, organizers have only hours to clear the venue. Finding charities by hand is slow, so useful items like furniture, fabric, signage and décor often get thrown away.
How it works:
The organizer lists items in under a minute, including from a phone.
ENCORE ranks nearby recipients with a visible score: category 35%, availability 30%, distance 20%, transport 15%.
The top match gets a timed offer. If it expires, the offer can pass to the next recipient.
Accepting locks the quantity, books a pickup slot and issues a pickup code.
The organizer enters the code at handover, and the board, activity log and impact report update together.
Who it’s for: Event organizers and venues with leftovers, and community groups such as youth theatres, schools and maker spaces that can use them.
