Stop romanticizing 2016. It wasn’t a "golden era", it was a warning we ignored. We reminisce about Snapchat and We Heart It as peaks of creativity, but 2016 actually birthed the distraction economy. We traded users for metrics and intent for algorithms.
From Aesthetics to Brainwash: In 2016, "infinite scroll" helped us discover. By 2026, it’s been weaponized into "brain rot," stripping user agency to fuel engagement loops. We’ve become complicit, recreating digital junk just to hit a KPI.
Design with Attitude
Design isn’t cosmetic; it’s a stance.
Stop Replicating Junk: If it doesn't provide genuine value, don't build it.
Value vs. ROI: Meet business goals through innovation, not dark patterns.
Design is a constructive rebellion.
Build with purpose. Build with attitude.

I design websites for a living, and I still say wait.
A redesign 3 weeks before your busiest season means untested forms, broken links from Google and ads, and bugs you discover during the rush.
Instead, fix three things on the site you already have: speed, your main button, and the path from ad to checkout on your phone. Then redesign properly in January.
If you'd like those three fixed on your WordPress or Elementor site before the rush, send me a message here on Contra.
A design system that doesn't just sit in Figma, it behaves like a real product. ⚡
This is a modular, animated design system for AI SaaS products, built from reusable components that snap together into any dashboard or screen.
What's inside:
• Data viz components: gauges, progress rings, bar charts and heatmaps
• Stat cards, KPI tiles and AI Insight cards
• Buttons, badges, toggles, tabs, dropdowns and tooltips
• Collaboration elements: avatars, live cursors, invite and export actions
• Interactive states: hover, active, loading, approve/reject and synced
• Light and dark card variants on a bento-style grid
Why it works:
✔️ One visual language across every component
✔️ Built with variables, auto layout and tokens for faster handoff
✔️ Motion that explains state changes instead of decorating them
✔️ Scales easily as new features and modules are added
I design SaaS products, dashboards and design systems for US startups and product teams, from wireframes to developer-ready Figma files.
Need a design system for your AI or SaaS product? Let's talk. Send me a short description of your product and I'll share where I'd start.

Nice range of components.
Pixels with purpose, Interactions with intention.
Websites with a little more soul.
