Lately been testing out @MagicPath ,@Claude and @Figma workflow for designing graphics.
While AI tools can get you till 80-90% , you can export and tweak the details in Figma until you're happy with the final output.
80-90% with AI tools tracks with what I've seen too. Where does that last stretch usually go, mostly typography and spacing tweaks, or does the output sometimes need bigger structural fixes before it's client ready?
Many people say that the demand for graphic design is declining because of AI.
I’m also a new designer, but my experience has been a little different.
One of my long-term clients in Bangladesh, who regularly gives me small projects, recently asked me to design packaging for a cat food brand. He had already spent around 3–4 hours trying to create the design himself using AI. However, he couldn’t achieve the professional and unique look the brand needed.
In the end, he came to me to complete the project. He himself told me that AI couldn’t deliver the result he was looking for.
And that’s the real point:
AI isn’t magic. It’s a tool.
Designers who know how to use AI effectively, understand design and branding, and can deliver a polished final result based on a client’s needs will not become less valuable.
In fact, their demand may grow even more.
