So thrilled to share my Lovable Challenge submission! 🎉
I have built 'Chef OS' for the ultimate overworked solopreneur: the independent private chef. They don't just cook—they play booking agent, accountant, and logistics manager, usually running a high-end business out of messy text messages.
To fix this, I built a digital storefront and back-office for Mateo Rossi, a Michelin-trained private chef in LA. It pairs a sleek client booking site with "Chef OS," a custom dashboard that manages the entire lifecycle of a private catering service.
Here is how it takes the heavy lifting off a solo chef's plate:
Smart Menu Builder: Clients choose their menu and quantities, log dietary needs during booking, and the system automatically flags dishes guests with allergies can't eat.
No Kitchen Surprises: The booking flow asks about the venue's kitchen setup and photo, prompting the chef to pack gear like an induction burner if needed.
Auto-Shopping Lists: Chef OS instantly generates a mobile-friendly grocery list and service details for each event based on the final menu.
Financial Dashboard: Mateo inputs his exact grocery costs and other expenses to instantly calculate his real profit margins for every single reservation, along with financial goals and lifetime earnings/profits, giving it a personal SaaS vibe.
The goal is to handle the logistical nightmare of this business, so the chef can focus on doing what he loves: cooking. I had a blast building this, and Lovable is truly a pleasure to work in—let me know what you think!

Choosing a nail color at the salon shouldn’t feel like a timed exam.
You know the moment: you’re staring at a wall of shades, the nail technician is impatiently waiting, and you can feel the pressure to just pick one. Then you spend the next two weeks wishing you’d chosen differently. The worst.
So I built Polly, an express nail studio in downtown Toronto. The problem I wanted to solve: help customers book while giving them time to choose a shade at home that they’ll actually love.

The booking flow lets customers choose their service, polish type, and up to three favourite shades. When they arrive, their shortlist is ready at their station where they can make the final call in person.
On the salon side, the team can see upcoming appointments and shade selections, manage availability, and keep the color collection up to date. It’s less decision pressure for the customer and less scrambling for the staff.
The appointment is express. The colour choice doesn’t have to be. 💅
which shade got the final vote?
SoHo — from first inquiry to confirmed session
SoHo is a boutique photography studio in New York, offering private portraits, editorial shoots, and handcrafted photo albums. Its small team has to manage booking requests, session details, discounts, and customer photos while preparing for shoots.
I built SoHo in Lovable to bring that work into one connected experience.
Clients can choose a session, request a date and time, and track their booking status from their account. The studio can review requests, set approval rules, and see AI-assisted equipment suggestions for each shoot. Discounts become available at the right stage of the booking journey.
For custom albums, clients select a cover and place their photos into a digital version of the physical album box. The studio can manage the order and download all submitted photos as one ZIP file.
The goal was simple: help a small studio spend less time coordinating messages and files, and more time making the work its clients came for.

A self-initiated product: a booking and ordering system for a billiard club in Tbilisi. I designed it in Figma from scratch and built all of it, from the interface to the database.
Guests call the club and nobody answers. They arrive and every table is taken. They want food and wait at the bar. Side Pocket moves all of that to the website.
Key decisions
No guest accounts. A booking needs a name and a phone number. The guest gets a private link to move, extend or cancel. The link is the account.
A 15-minute hold. Guests check in with "I'm at the table." A table nobody claims goes to the waitlist, and the next person gets the same 15 minutes.
Ordering tied to the table. Guests order from their phone during the game, add time themselves and see the bill as it grows.
One screen for staff. Every table's state for the night, late arrivals and orders to serve pinned to the top, bookings and orders boards, alerts in Telegram.
A Telegram bot. It understands "table for 4 tonight at 8" in English or Russian and finishes the booking with buttons.
Scope
Guest site with live availability, single and group booking, waitlist, private booking page, table page with menu, cart and bill, email confirmations and reminders, staff dashboard, Telegram bot.
Stack
React 19, TanStack Start, TanStack Router and Query, Tailwind 4, Radix UI, Supabase Postgres with row-level security, pg_cron, Brevo and Resend, Telegram Bot API, Vitest.
Business rules sit in plain functions, separate from the UI and the database, with 73 tests. Only server functions touch the database.
