Industrial packaging usually has one problem: everything on the box is shouting, so nothing is heard.
This is a self-initiated redesign for Zupan, a Brazilian maker of clutch servos for heavy vehicles. It wasn't commissioned by the brand.
Picture where the box actually gets chosen: a parts store under fluorescent light, boxes stacked at angles, a mechanic scanning fast.
• I kept the blue they already owned. It was the one asset already doing its job.
• Diagonals organise the reading, so the eye lands in the same place on every SKU.
• The Z is scaled up into a signal you can read from across the aisle. Side by side, the boxes repeat it, and the range gets stronger the more of it you see.
The full range was modelled and rendered in Blender before anything was treated as final. Packaging mistakes are expensive, and rendering moves them from the print run to the screen.

Unfortunately, the client decided not to move forward with the project, can you believe it? Hahaha.
They said they really liked it, but were “afraid” of losing some of the product’s traditional aspects.
But the 3D application I created in Blender was designed precisely for that...

Most brands in this category go clinical white and blue, it reads safe, but it also reads like something you'd hide in a drawer, not something you'd want visible on your sink. For Maneup Labs, I went almost fully black instead.
That was a real risk. In a category this saturated with sterile, pharmacy-white packaging, going dark could just as easily read cold, or get lost next to competitors leaning into "clean = trustworthy." But it did the opposite: next to every clinical-looking bottle on the shelf, black reads premium, not medicinal, closer to what you'd expect from a grooming or fragrance brand than a hair-loss aisle.
That's the audience shift the whole rebrand was built around, not the guy who wants to feel like he's medicating something, but the guy who wants a product that looks like it belongs on his counter.

Criter.AI: Pitch Deck Cover, Two Design Directions
For an AI immigration advice platform serving Australia, I explored two cover directions to test how tone changes perception.
Direction 1, Olive gradient: warm, human and trustworthy, with a rounded image card and gold accents.
Direction 2, Dark and neon: high contrast, modern and investor-ready, with a bold split layout.
Both keep the brand mark, the tagline "Your Criteria, Our Intelligence" and the hero imagery, so the difference is purely in the design language.
Scope: pitch deck cover design and visual direction
Tools: Figma, PowerPoint, etc.
