i started by prompting Figma Make to generate my entire design system colors, typography, and components in one shot.
Then I built each screen sequentially in the same session so Make retained design context.
For illustrations I used Figma Weave, prompting each asset with specific color hex codes to match the design tokens. Finally I used Figma MCP connected to my code editor to export clean, live React code from the design.
Grief is the most universal human experience, yet almost no digital tool treats it with the care and design quality it deserves.
Most people grieve alone, silently, without structure.
and for this reason i designed Lumina, a daily ritual app, gentle check-ins, guided journaling prompts, a memory keeper, and a visual grief timeline that shows how far you've come.

✨ What if you could explore the lives you haven't lived yet?
For the Figma Makeathon, I wanted to create something beyond another productivity tool or AI assistant. I kept coming back to a question that all of us have asked at some point:
"What would happen if I chose differently?"
That question became Possible Lives — an immersive experience that transforms life decisions into explorable alternate futures.
Instead of telling users what choice to make, Possible Lives invites them to step inside multiple versions of their future. Through interactive timelines, future memories, artifacts, relationships, and alternate selves, users can experience the possibilities hidden behind a single decision.
As someone with a background in writing and visual storytelling, I approached this project less like a traditional app and more like a narrative world. I wanted it to feel like walking through a museum of futures, where every choice opens a new reality and every reality tells a different story.
The project explores themes of curiosity, uncertainty, identity, and possibility—turning decision-making into an act of exploration rather than prediction.
Because the future isn't one destination.
It's a landscape of possibilities.

I built Echo Cord for my mother.
After being diagnosed with early-onset dementia, everyday routines became harder to navigate. Medications. Appointments. Even simple daily tasks.
But one thing never changed.
She still wanted to maintain her independence.
Echo Cord is a caregiving companion designed to help families communicate routines, medications, appointments, and daily tasks through simple visual Echoes. Each Echo is delivered as a single focused task, reducing complexity while providing reassurance for both loved ones and caregivers.
Built for the Config Makeathon, Echo Cord was designed and prototyped in Figma using Figma Make and Figma Design Agent. The workflow focused on exploring caregiver and patient experiences, refining accessibility-first interactions, and designing for clarity, simplicity, and confidence.
While inspired by dementia care, Echo Cord was designed with broader applications in mind, including memory support, cognitive recovery, traumatic brain injury recovery, and other caregiving scenarios where clear communication matters.
Back Story:
Echo Cord is deeply personal to me and, at times, difficult.
Throughout the design process, I found myself thinking about my mother constantly. Every screen, interaction, and word was shaped by a simple question:
"Would this make things easier for Mom?"
What began as a design challenge quickly became something much more meaningful. This project is my way of turning a deeply personal experience into something that might help other families facing similar challenges.
