About the Brand

Afterhours is a fictional café designed for students and professionals seeking a comfortable, quiet space to work, study, or take a well-deserved break. With good coffee and a calm, work-friendly environment at its core, the brand brings together productivity and relaxation. It also appeals to café explorers looking to discover unique places and experiences.

The Problem

The challenge was to communicate Afterhours' core purpose and brand personality through Instagram Stories in a way that was clear, engaging, and easy to understand. The designs needed to establish Afterhours as more than just another café: a space where people could focus, recharge, and enjoy good coffee without compromising on comfort.

Solution

I explored a clean, editorial design approach using bold typography, warm neutral tones, and minimal compositions to communicate professionalism while keeping the brand approachable. Through concise copy and coffee-centric visuals, the Instagram Stories connect coffee with productivity, focus, and taking a break. The aim was to build a distinctive brand presence that feels calm, contemporary, and relatable to its audience.

a cafe built for people who need quiet? id honestly pay a cover charge for that

Hello, Contra! 👋

I’m new here, and I’m excited to connect with people in the short-term rental industry.

I’m a Short-Term Rental Virtual Assistant specializing in Airbnb and Vrbo listing optimization.

I help property owners and hosts improve their listings, present their properties more effectively, and create a better experience for potential guests.

Here’s what I can help with: • Airbnb & Vrbo listing optimization • Property listing management • Guest communication and inquiry management • Virtual assistance for hosts and property managers

I believe a great guest experience starts long before a guest checks in. It begins with how a property is presented, how inquiries are handled, and how smoothly everything runs behind the scenes.

I'm here to connect with Airbnb hosts, property managers, co-hosts, and STR business owners who value great service and efficient operations.

If you're in the short-term rental space, I'd love to connect, learn about what you're building, and explore opportunities to collaborate.

Let's connect! If you're a host or property manager, what is one part of managing your rentals that takes up most of your time?
