Hi! I’d love to help create engaging long-form YouTube content that keeps viewers watching. I can handle content planning, scripting, SEO, titles, thumbnails, and audience-retention focused optimization.
Old YouTube videos keep getting views for years. The descriptions underneath them usually do not keep up.
Links die. Discount codes expire. A line like "20% off until 31 August" stays there long after the offer ended, and every viewer who clicks it gets an error page or a code that does not work.
So I built an n8n workflow that checks a channel's descriptions every Monday:
It tests the links in your newest 200 videos and flags dead pages.
Plain code compares every discount code and offer date with a Google Sheet of your live offers.
Claude rewrites only the broken lines, using links, codes and dates from that sheet.
A second code check throws the fix out if Claude used anything that is not in the sheet.
Slack shows you the old and new lines. Nothing changes on YouTube until you press Approve.
The most viewed videos come first, because that is where a dead link costs the most.
A warning if you build something like this yourself: n8n's built-in YouTube update step clears a video's tags unless you send them again. This workflow sends only the description change, so the title, tags and privacy settings stay as they are.
If your channel is full of course links, affiliate links or promo codes, send me a message and I will set this up for you.
