I set up 2 AI agents on a $9.49/month server last night I get both hosted for just less then 10 bucks Used VPS from Hetzner This does not include AI model API costs That depends on which model you are using I get free trial for gemini-2.5-flash Grok's API can also be a good option I used Grok API for free in one of my AI agent project If we know what we are doing and have technical skills to setup servers and configure them we can definitely cut costs to very minimum And don't need to break bank by buying Mac mini or expensive hosting plans You just need 4GB RAM and 2 CPUs to run OpenClaw + Hermes + n8n Recommendation is not to run this on your personal machine locally I will talk about it later in coming posts Go with option of VPS with these specifications
