Matcha Taro Boba Tea — A Real-Life Illustration 🧋🍓

I visited Got Tea one day and, as usual, instead of just enjoying my boba… I ended up wanting to draw it. 😅

This illustration is inspired by one of my favourite boba stops and the drinks I had there — matcha and taro boba tea.

I wanted to capture the experience through a colourful, playful composition, combining hand-drawn lettering, illustrated ingredients, textures and the actual drinks into one visual story.

I love turning everyday experiences, food and little things I notice around me into illustrations. This was a personal project created simply because I enjoyed the place (and the boba!). 💜

The pivot from the real product bottle into that geometric particle animation is a smooth way to move from proof to brand world. Was Innerceuticals specifically asking for that split, ground it in the actual product first then get conceptual after, or did that pairing come together in the edit?

Turning an everyday coffee run into a little illustration story ☕️✨

I went to Starbucks, ordered a few of my favourites, and thought - why not turn the whole thing into an illustration?

So I did. 😄

I illustrated the drinks, food, and little details from my visit in my playful doodle style, inspired by the things I naturally notice around me.

I love creating illustrations around real-life moments, food, everyday objects, and tiny details — the ordinary things that can become interesting when you look at them differently.

This was a personal illustration project, created purely for the joy of drawing. 💛
