Project Overview
This project involved designing and developing a 3D model of a pair of
headphones using Autodesk Fusion 360. The aim was to create a modern,
functional-looking headphone design while exploring 3D modeling, form
development, and product visualization.
Design Development
I began by developing the overall shape and proportions of the headphones,
focusing on creating a balanced relationship between the headband, earcups, and
supporting components. I used Fusion 360's modeling tools to construct and
refine the individual parts before assembling them into a complete product.
Modeling Process
The model was created using a combination of sketches, extrusions, fillets, and
other solid-modeling techniques. Particular attention was given to symmetry,
proportions, smooth transitions, and the overall appearance of the product.
Rendering & Visualization
After completing the 3D model, I produced a rendered view to showcase the final
design. The rendering allowed me to present the headphones with realistic
materials, lighting, and surface finishes, making the final form easier to
visualize.
Skills Demonstrated:
3D CAD modeling
Product design
Autodesk Fusion 360
Assembly and component modeling
Surface/form development
Rendering and visualization
Attention to proportion and detail
Final Outcome
The final result is a complete 3D headphone model that demonstrates my ability
to take a product concept and develop it into a detailed digital model. This
project also helped me improve my understanding of CAD workflows and product
visualization.
🎴 TASTY TEST 06/30: Which travel discovery experience would you choose?
Traveling Up is probably my first mobile concept outside client work in almost three years. It was inspired by a trip where not knowing the destination was part of the fun.
Same app. Same destination. Two ways to discover it.
🤍 A Clean Carousel
Calmer, lighter, more familiar.
💚 B Immersive Deck
Bigger imagery, stronger overlap, more tactile navigation.
Which one makes you want to swipe and see where the app takes you next?
A or B? 👇
Took a little time to challenge my motion design skills.
I recreated a Spotify app concept to explore how UI elements, motion, timing, and transitions can come together to create a more engaging product experience.
This was a self initiated practice project, but I treated it like a real product animation project.
Always looking for ways to make interfaces feel more alive through motion.
