Here is what that actually looked like. The platform is called Schuul. It is a full tutor marketplace, live today, with real users booking real lessons. Here is what is running under the hood. Students search by subject and city, find available tutors, and book a lesson in minutes. Not a contact form. Not an email thread. An actual booking system with calendar availability and instant confirmation. Before any tutor takes a single booking, they go through DBS and ID document verification. Built into the platform. Automated. No manual admin required. Payments run through Stripe Connect. Students pay on booking. Tutors get paid after the lesson completes. Automatic. Clean. No chasing invoices. Lessons happen inside a live video classroom built directly into the platform. Students never leave the site. We built two subscription tiers, Free and Premium, an analytics dashboard for tutors to track student progress, and a full multi-role system keeping the student and tutor experiences completely separate from each other. The platform has already facilitated over 10,000 lessons and has students from more than 20 countries. The founder had zero technical background. They knew the problem.
