Velocity Compression | Product Showcase
Project Overview
This project involved creating a high-impact promotional video for Velocity Compression, focusing on the intersection of medical-grade support and athletic performance. The brief required a visual narrative that transitions from the physical discomfort of joint inflammation to the freedom of movement provided by advanced textile engineering.
My Role
Creative Direction: Developed the visual hook, transitioning from a high-tension "pain" sequence to a clean, clinical product reveal.
Cinematography & Visual Effects: Directed the use of medical-grade anatomical overlays to illustrate deep-tissue inflammation and joint mechanics.
Product Visualisation: Leveraged 3D-assisted camera work to highlight the "Advanced Technical Knit" and "Silicon Anti-Slip Grip" features of the sleeve.
Post-Production: Executed the final edit, integrating rhythmic pacing with an energetic soundscape to appeal to the active runner demographic.

4K Cinematic Ad: A 40-second spot optimised for multi-platform distribution.
Anatomical Motion Graphics: Custom overlays detailing the patella and surrounding cartilage to explain product utility.
Branded Packaging Reveal: Seamless integration of physical product with minimalist, high-end packaging design.
Technical Highlights
3D Medical Simulation: Visualising the patella, meniscus, and ACL support systems.
On-Location Performance Shoots: High-frame-rate capture of the product in use to demonstrate zero-slip technology during outdoor runs.
Dynamic Typography: Integrated product specs directly into the 3D environment for a modern, tech-focused aesthetic.

What if your AI workflow is the reason your brand still looks generic?
Q2 forced me to reset how I build everything creatively and honestly… I simplified it way down.
Right now my process is just two tools, but waaay more intention behind them.
I’m using Claude to actually think with me. I feed it strategy, references, and the full brand world, and it translates that into really detailed prompts. When you pair that with Nano Banana 2, you finally start seeing visuals that actually feel like your brand.
I stopped expecting AI to figure it out and started directing it like a creative partner.
That’s also why I moved away from MidJourney. The second you need anything brand-specific like real text, packaging, or logos, it starts to fall apart. It’s great for vibes, not for building real brand systems.
This workflow forces more clarity upfront, and the output is 10x more intentional.
