Accountant, Bookkeeper & Project Coordinator — Melissa Wasi

During my time at Melissa Wasi, I worked across accounting, bookkeeping, and project coordination, supporting both the financial and operational sides of the business. My role required a high level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail, while also ensuring projects and day-to-day activities remained on track.

I was responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing bookkeeping processes, tracking income and expenses, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and supporting financial reporting and administrative requirements. I helped ensure financial information was organised, up to date, and readily available to support effective business decision-making.

Alongside my financial responsibilities, I coordinated projects from planning through to delivery, managing timelines, priorities, documentation, and communication between relevant stakeholders. This involved balancing multiple responsibilities, anticipating potential issues, following up on key actions, and ensuring deadlines and deliverables were met.

The role strengthened my ability to combine financial accuracy with practical project management, giving me experience in supporting business operations from both a commercial and organisational perspective.
