Hi! I'm Kate — a bilingual (EN/JP) content and web specialist based in Japan.
For the past several years I've been helping international brands land properly in the Japanese market: SEO writing, localization, and the ongoing, behind-the-scenes work of keeping a website running smoothly. The editor side of the job is what I love most — the quiet, steady work of making sure pages stay accurate, on-brand, and actually findable.
Right now I'm opening up bandwidth for a Japanese SEO or Website Manager / Editor role. The kind of engagement I'm looking for is one where I can manage or run a site (or a section of one), edit the Japanese or translate, keep it healthy, and move the needle on organic traffic over time.
