This project was created for a school photography and digital art event, focusing on the transformative power of colour grading and lighting.
The photograph is edited on Lightroom, and this social media post is done on Canva. The image used was photographed by myself on an Android device camera; background images and font styles and colours are meticulously selected with time to prepare this aesthetic.
The goal of this work was to display how an simple photo, captured on a regular device, can be transformed into a cinematic photograph— as if it was shot with a high-end camera and professional setup.
Just some thoughtful colour balance, tone refinement, and exposure corrections can completely change the mood and character of a photograph.
Starting from a RAW un-edited image, I developed two distinct edits, each highlighting a different style of edit and mood.
