If you were wondering how to optimize your case studies on Contra for SEO impact, then make sure your image captions are written like alt-tags. Apparently they serve a double purpose allowing screen readers to understand the image, as well as helping SEO index your work. Below is the HTML of my Goldfish app case study: <img alt="Goldfish platform overview" ...> <img alt="Goldfish problem context" ...> <img alt="Goldfish solution framework" ...> <img alt="Goldfish UI screens" ...> <img alt="Visual direction option 1" ...> <img alt="Visual direction option 2" ...> <img alt="Visual direction option 3" ...> <img alt="Goldfish Bowling Center V Bowling Center" ...> <img alt="Goldfish Reward Store, done in partnership with Amazon." ...> <img alt="Goldfish results" ...>
The caption text is also rendered as a visible <div> element below each image (acting like a figcaption). So you're getting both: the alt attribute for SEO crawlers and screen readers, plus the visible caption for human readers.
One thing to note: images uploaded without a caption get alt="" (empty). For example, the "HOme.png" image in your project has alt="" because it has no caption set. That's a missed SEO opportunity for any uncaptioned images.
