Squiz Kids – Newshounds Explainer Video
I created an explainer video for Newshounds, Squiz Kids’ classroom program that teaches children how to recognize misinformation and think critically online.
The animation introduces Squiz-E the Newshound, an “internet detective dog” who helps kids learn to Stop, Think and Check before believing what they see online. Through a fast-paced visual journey across the internet, the video highlights the challenges kids face with fake news, misinformation and disinformation.
The project included storyboarding, visual development, animatics, final animation, and sound design. The final result brings together humor, education, and storytelling to clearly communicate how Newshounds helps teachers turn students into smart, confident media detectives.
