Most SaaS websites don't have a design problem. They have a decision problem.
We often see teams debating:
• Should the headline be bigger? • Should we add more animation? • Should this section use cards? • Should we change the colors?
But those decisions come after the important ones.
Before opening Figma, we should know:
→ Who are we trying to convince? → What do they need to understand? → What might make them hesitate? → What action do we want them to take?
Once those decisions are clear, the design becomes much easier.
Because you're no longer designing a page just to make it look good.
You're designing it to help someone make a decision.
That's where we think good website design starts.
Design is the output. Clarity is the work behind it.
What do you think, do teams spend too much time discussing how a website should look before deciding what it needs to accomplish?
