901 Fix-It Home Services — Memphis, Tennessee
Marcus is a solo handyman who spends his days on job sites and his evenings answering “Can you come fix this?” texts. Before a job could even reach his calendar, he had to collect repair details, photos, address, urgency, availability, and contact information — then handle every schedule change himself.
I built 901 Fix-It to turn that back-and-forth into a self-service booking experience.
Customers can describe their repair, upload photos, verify the service area, see availability based on the actual job duration, and confirm an appointment. After booking, they can retrieve their appointment and reschedule or cancel it themselves; cancelled time is automatically released back into availability.
The system also knows when not to auto-book. Potentially risky or unusual requests — such as an active leak — are safely paused and routed to Marcus for review, where he can approve, request more information, or decline.
Marcus’s dashboard brings it all together: active appointments, jobs requiring his attention, and recent booking activity including customer bookings, reschedules, and cancellations.
The result: customers get from “Can I book?” to “You’re booked” with less friction, while Marcus spends less time qualifying leads and managing his calendar.
This was such a good exercise for me to do! First submission ever.. it's a little rougher than I would have liked-- I was cutting it down to the wire on time, so I missed some editing stuff (FIRST time for that too!!) .. But I'm so proud of myself for sticking to it! I can't wait until the next challenge!

Choosing a nail color at the salon shouldn’t feel like a timed exam.
You know the moment: you’re staring at a wall of shades, the nail technician is impatiently waiting, and you can feel the pressure to just pick one. Then you spend the next two weeks wishing you’d chosen differently. The worst.
So I built Polly, an express nail studio in downtown Toronto. The problem I wanted to solve: help customers book while giving them time to choose a shade at home that they’ll actually love.

The booking flow lets customers choose their service, polish type, and up to three favourite shades. When they arrive, their shortlist is ready at their station where they can make the final call in person.
On the salon side, the team can see upcoming appointments and shade selections, manage availability, and keep the color collection up to date. It’s less decision pressure for the customer and less scrambling for the staff.
The appointment is express. The colour choice doesn’t have to be. 💅
which shade got the final vote?
SoHo — from first inquiry to confirmed session
SoHo is a boutique photography studio in New York, offering private portraits, editorial shoots, and handcrafted photo albums. Its small team has to manage booking requests, session details, discounts, and customer photos while preparing for shoots.
I built SoHo in Lovable to bring that work into one connected experience.
Clients can choose a session, request a date and time, and track their booking status from their account. The studio can review requests, set approval rules, and see AI-assisted equipment suggestions for each shoot. Discounts become available at the right stage of the booking journey.
For custom albums, clients select a cover and place their photos into a digital version of the physical album box. The studio can manage the order and download all submitted photos as one ZIP file.
The goal was simple: help a small studio spend less time coordinating messages and files, and more time making the work its clients came for.

"Can I book with you?" shouldn't take 15 messages to answer. But for one business owner, it did, every single time.
He runs a home-help business in PAKISTAN (Islamabad & Rawalpindi), moving crews, with no real system. Every inquiry came in as a vague message. He'd read it, figure out what was needed, check who's free, negotiate a time, confirm, and follow up manually every time. Evenings and weekends were chaos. No-shows cost him. He is a team of one, juggling everyone.
So I rebuilt his booking process as ● MADAD, Urdu for "help."
Customers don't pick a category, they just describe the problem: "Want to move home furniture from DHA phase 2 to Bahria" MADAD understands it, matches a crew, and books it—no back-and-forth. The owner isn't coordinating anymore. He's just informed.
From "Can I book with you?" to "You're booked" with almost nothing left for him to manually do.

➡️Added the ADMIN side for judges to view what minimum actions the admin could take. He will just change status; the customer has nothing to do with the admin side.
