I appreciate the positivity and productivity on this platform! Love this for all of you.
But I'm going to speak about my UGLY personal experience regarding freelancing and finding clients.
eternal hell and futile running in circles. I joined all freelancing platforms, optimized all my profiles, promoted myself on Discord and Reddit..I tried everything
How am I supposed to find momentum to add more to my portfolio when I feel like I'm getting no recognition or investment at all?
I'm a fresh grad; I just graduated this July. This marketplace, this current state of constant layoffs, this desert of no chances, is just brutal and beyond my capability
ESPECIALLY WHEN I KNOW SO WELL I'M TALENTED AND WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!

@Hana Tawfik how the potential client will decide to work with you? It must be no brainer for them - you clearly will do the work faster or cheaper or more quality or all together

@Max Hora I think getting my first client and my first slight chance of showcasing myself will definitely motivate me to do better in the long run. I can't guarantee any certain outcomes because I was never given a chance in the first place

@Hana Tawfik it sounds like you now need to push to find the direct social contacts with clients and build/evolve your foundation as the professional.

@Max Hora You got any ideas how to reach out to clients? What platforms can help me with direct outreach?
