on Saturday i celebrated my 27th birthday 🥹
birthdays always make me reflect, and this year i’ve been thinking a lot about my career journey.
21: started a business as a junior in college in the middle of a global pandemic.
24: transitioned and said yes to corporate.
27: betting on myself again!
careers aren’t linear. they evolve.
and if you’re paying attention, every season is preparation for the next.
the best advice i can give any early professional: treat every job and company you work for like it’s yours.
serve with excellence, build like you own it, care like your name is on the door. because one day, it might be! and you’d hope someone gave your business that same respect. 1/2
my early 20’s taught me grit and hustle.
corporate taught me systems, strategy at scale, and how to collaborate when the stakes are high.
now i’m bringing all of that into work that’s mine again.
i’m grateful for more freedom, autonomy, and purpose in the work i do this birthday.

March is hereee! as we step into this new season, I've felt my energy and creativity shift in a big way. Have you felt it too?👀
Maybe it's the seasonal depression finally leaving my body. Maybe it's the fact that I've seen more sun in the past four days than I have in weeks🥲. Or maybe it's just that spring always makes me feel like I'm stepping into a new version of myself, blooming alongside nature🌱
That shift has been showing up in my work too. I've been feeling so much more inspired lately, which has helped tremendously with making progress on my current client work.
I made this collage as a way to capture where my head is right now. What I'm feeling and what I'm looking forward to!
