Home Network Traffic Observation (Beginner-Friendly) | KaredokNet
This project focuses on understanding normal network traffic behavior in a home environment.
I captured a short sample of network traffic using CLI tools and analyzed it visually to explain what typical protocols and patterns look like, without technical jargon.
Tools used: • tcpdump • Wireshark
Outcome: • Identified normal encrypted web traffic • Observed DNS, NTP, and device discovery behavior • Provided clear explanations and basic security recommendations
All analysis was performed ethically on a network I own or manage. Sensitive details have been anonymized.
