Right before the cut, the subject started to blink. You'd never catch it consciously while watching the video. But you'd feel something was slightly off. Removed three frames. Cut lands clean now. The story keeps moving instead of snagging on something nobody could even name. Honestly, this is most of what editing is. The big structural calls matter, sure, but that's not where trust with an audience actually gets built. It gets built in the frames nobody notices.
