Most AI features look incredible in a 30-second Twitter demo.
Then you launch to real users, and two things happen:
The model starts hallucinating when it doesn't know the answer.
API rate limits or network hiccups cause silent failures and blank screens.
When building AI features (like conversational agents or RAG pipelines), reliability isn't an afterthought—it's the entire product.
Here is the exact architecture I implement to make LLMs production-grade:
Strict "I Don’t Know" Guardrails: If user context or vector search returns low semantic confidence, the agent politely admits it doesn't know rather than hallucinating plausible-sounding nonsense (shipped in my open-source toolkit, Grounded).
Multi-Model Fallback: Never tie your app to a single LLM API. If OpenAI or Gemini hits a 429 rate limit or 500 downtime, the system automatically cools down and routes to a backup model seamlessly.
Webhook & Idempotency Protection: When handling external triggers (like WhatsApp or payment webhooks), we enforce database-level atomic deduplication so messages and transactions are never processed twice.
I build AI features that founders can actually trust in production.

Our goal was to make pricing, inventory and ordering data feel simple and human for an AI-powered B2B commerce platform. We'd love to hear your thoughts!
Designed the landing page for Smug — an AI support agent that resolves tickets, knows exactly when to escalate to a human, and has zero interest in pretending otherwise.
Most AI support tools go the humble, over-apologetic route. Smug does the opposite — the whole brand is built around a smug little cat mascot and copy like "Handled it. You're welcome." It's a genuinely fun brief: figuring out how to make confidence read as charming instead of obnoxious.
Bold electric blue and orange instead of the usual muted SaaS palette, because a product this confident shouldn't look shy about it. 💙
I've built a new mobile AI assistant that brings chat, text and image generation, voice input and document analysis into one app.
It have Smart Chat, Text Creator, Image Create, Voice Input, plus PDF Scanner, Photo Analyze, Social Content and Prompt Ideas, filtered by category.
Almost everything AI can do, just in one place.
