Found this scrolling Lapa Ninja today and had to stop — the "Marble" landing page (withmarble.com) is one of the most intentional pieces of design I've seen in a while 🌊
What makes it work: 🎬 A full-bleed looping hero video (a kid kayaking toward the island) instead of a static hero shot — it sets the emotional tone before a single word loads ✍️ EB Garamond serif paired with a rounded Merel typeface — gives a kids' product a storybook warmth instead of the usual SaaS-sterile feel 🪜 The page doesn't describe the product, it walks you through it — onboarding, exploration, and the daily parent report are embedded as looping video demos, not screenshots 🧠 An actual interactive skill-map section — answer 3 quick questions and watch two "topic ladders" light up live, turning a features block into a mini product trial 🌋 Small hand-drawn touches — an island illustration, an erupting volcano GIF, a wave-loop footer — keep it feeling like childhood, not a dashboard
This is a great study in restraint: no gimmick animation, every motion choice is doing narrative work.
Full credit to the Marble team and to Lapa Ninja for surfacing it — link in comments. What's the one section here you'd steal for your own site? 👇
