I wanted to design a fintech app that felt genuinely premium not the usual blue-and-white playbook.

So I started with two color swatches. Wattle #CFD457 on Bunker #040810. And let that single decision drive everything else surfaces, depth, hierarchy, every interaction state.

A full mobile banking concept with 12 screens, 7 complete UX flows, and an interactive prototype. Transfer simulations with biometric auth. A 7-step receipt flow. Eight settings sub-screens, all functional.

I used AI as a design tool to bring it to life the same way I'd use Figma or code. The decisions were mine. The vision was mine.

I think AI is not replacing the designer, but removing the ceiling on what one designer can ship alone.

First impressions make a difference. I attempted to generate two animations on Higgsfield vibecoding animation feature, the first two attempts failed and yet the credits for them were still taken from my balance. Reached out to support and their policy is essentially "if our system doesnt work, just email us every single time credits are taken from you when they weren't supposed to be and we'll look into it" Holy moly. As a civilization we're advancing technologically in all things except customer service. Customer service instead seems to be regressing at the same speed that Ai companies are innovating. I don't usually regret purchases but so far I think I'd advise people to hold off before making any sort of annual plan commitment to anyone Ai company that has a credits based business model.
