TAME — Funny AI Shampoo Commercial
15-second humorous AI commercial built around relatable hair chaos and a clean product payoff
TAME is a self-initiated 15-second advertising concept for a fictional smoothing shampoo brand.
The idea was built around a simple, relatable problem: hair that refuses to cooperate in the morning.
Instead of using exaggerated fantasy effects, the humor comes from realistic everyday situations — hair falling into the wrong place, getting caught while dressing, and constantly getting in the way.
The commercial then shifts into a clean product-focused moment, followed by the payoff: smooth, controlled hair and a small final comedic beat.
I developed the fictional brand concept, product design direction, visual references, comedy structure, shot planning, AI generation workflow, product consistency, editing, sound direction, and final voice-over concept.
The goal was to create a beauty ad that feels polished and premium while still being memorable, human, and funny.
Built this over a weekend as an experiment with AI-assisted design and development.
Duo Case is an absurd concept for turning two iPhones into a very unofficial foldable iPhone. The goal was to see how far AI could accelerate the process while keeping creative direction, design decisions and final execution in human hands.
I’ve been razzmatazzing and flibbertigibbeting with Claude Code and somehow ended up with a new yels.dev.
It finally feels like me: simple on the surface, slightly complicated underneath, and very much alive.
You can see who I am, what I do, the work behind Herodot, RaptorLabs, CyberLink Security and Solmint, plus a selection of projects I’ve built across AI, cybersecurity, Web3, product systems, education, archives, and experimental digital spaces.
The simple-on-the-surface, layered-underneath idea comes through so clearly in the presentation. I especially like how the project archive turns the site into something to explore rather than just a résumé of links.
