Vile Obsidian Dagger — Dark Fantasy Weapon Art : A personal project focused on creating a high-quality 3D asset for a dark fantasy setting, inspired by Xianxia aesthetics. This project was an exercise in mastering the full production pipeline—from conceptual modeling to a finalized cinematic composition. The Narrative: I wanted to capture the moment a forgotten, vile obsidian dagger is infused with corrupted mystical energy, causing the very ground of the ancient shrine to crack and bleed light. Technical Details: High-to-Low Poly Workflow: Modeled in Blender, with focus on efficient baking and clean mesh flow. Procedural Details: Texture work highlights obsidian material properties and ancient runes. Atmosphere & Post-Processing: Scene assembly in Blender. The final cinematic look, volumetric fog, Color grading, and dynamic crack bloom effects were achieved entirely using DaVinci Resolve.
