Your Shopify product page probably has more than one Product schema on it I looked at a store this week and counted eleven separate Product blocks in the structured data on one product page, alongside a ProductGroup, ten Offers and thirty-one Review blocks. Nothing was visibly broken. The page looked fine. But that is the kind of thing that quietly decides whether Google shows a price and a star rating next to you in the results, or shows nothing. Here is how it happens. Your theme ships its own JSON-LD for products. A reviews app then adds its own so the stars can show. An SEO app adds a third set, because that is what it is for. Each one is individually correct, and none of them know about the others. Google is left deciding which description of your product to believe. How to check it yourself, in about twenty minutes: Open a product page, view source, search for application/ld+json and count the blocks. If the same product is described more than once with different data, you have it. Run that page through Google's Rich Results Test. It reports what Google actually parses, which is often not what you assumed was there. Then switch off the duplicate source rather than editing it. Most review and SEO apps have a setting for this, because the better ones know themes already emit product markup. Pick one source of truth and keep it. Do the same on your homepage for Organization. Two Organization blocks carrying different logos is a common one, and it is the one that decides which logo sits next to your brand in search. None of this doubles your traffic. It removes a reason for Google to ignore markup you are already paying an app to generate. Ecom Swift LLC - Shopify Partner since 2018
