But if you're wondering where to start with your Webflow website specifically, that's a narrower, more solvable problem.
So I wrote a guide.
It covers:
โ How to measure if you're even showing up in AI answers
โ How to structure content so AI systems can extract it
โ Where nested schema markup actually belongs in Webflow (head code vs. on-element)
โ Why FAQ sections alone won't get you cited
โ What matters for Google AI Overviews vs. ChatGPT/Perplexity โ and why they're not the same playbook
Disclaimer: AEO is changing fast. This guide won't be complete in 3 months. But it's a solid starting point today.

The point about AI reading the wider internet, not just the site, is easy to overlook. Which off-site signal would you audit first for a Webflow brand?
I'd always start with the question what are your customers looking for? prompt it and check where the answers do come from. it might be a forum, blog, competition โฆ
ChatGPT just added a new sketch feature to its new Images 2.5 model, so I tried it with extremely simple sketches and short prompts to see how well it could understand my intention.
And honestly, I actually like it!
This can be helpful especially when you already have a specific pose or composition in mind and want to quickly turn that rough idea into something more refined.
If youโre curious, I included a quick process video in the comments.
Do you think this new feature could be useful in your workflow?
