BuildScan is a UK-based company headquartered in London, offering specialized services in the construction industry. Their mission is to make construction management simpler, faster, and more transparent through digital solutions. Challenge: Construction management is a high-stakes and detail-heavy process. Small missteps can lead to delays, cost overruns, and client dissatisfaction. While many tools exist, most are either too complex for field workers or too expensive for small to mid-sized companies. The challenge was to create a web-based platform that delivers core features without overwhelming users. Solution: I developed the BuildScan web app, a cross-browser, mobile-responsive solution that provides construction teams with the ability to track tasks, inspect defects, and manage workflows in real-time. The interface is clean, and the system is intuitive enough for non-technical users.
