Editorial redesign of an excerpt from The Passenger – Berlin, focused on Ellen Allien. The project involved reimagining the original text layout through a structured typographic system, with attention to hierarchy, rhythm, and readability. The goal was to translate a narrative-based publication into a contemporary editorial format while maintaining clarity and visual consistency.

Brand: The Haya
Industry: Modest fashion / clothing brand
Audience: Women 18–35, modest fashion lovers, young professionals and students who want elegant everyday wear
Brand personality: Elegant, minimal, modest, timeless
Logo type: Wordmark-led combination mark — the name "The Haya" set in a refined thin-weight serif, paired with one subtle symbolic element (not a literal icon, not a mascot).
Three directions explored:
Silhouette Mark — wordmark + a minimal one-line silhouette accent (a woman in flowing modest wear).
Negative Space Crescent — wordmark where the "H" subtly hides a crescent or arch shape in its negative space, discoverable on close look.

Going with Option 1. The lowercase feels more aligned with the modest, approachable side of the brand. Option 2 is bold but reads more editorial than wearable. The negative space crescent concept in the H is really interesting though, is that visible in either of these versions?
