I've been asked this multiple times (including yesterday), so here's a PSA: Your Notion Calendar can be a task manager. Just connect your tasks database to it. For years, I paired Notion with a separate task management app too (hi TickTick, I still love you ❤️) because I couldn't use the Notion app itself to manage my day-to-day tasks. I just get pulled into updating a page, tweaking a database, reorganizing something, or checking another project. Then Notion calendar became BETTER. :D Now, Notion remains the backend where all my tasks, projects, and information live, while Notion Calendar is where I actually execute. I can drag tasks onto my calendar, see my workload alongside meetings, and manage my day without getting distracted by everything else in my workspace. It's not just for meetings and events either. I use it for task management, content planning, and even capturing ideas. My favorite feature is the countdown at the top of the screen showing the current task and the countdown/timer. :)
