Hi,
My name is Chris, and I’m the owner of The Jersey Guy—a USA-made custom sports apparel company based in California. We specialize in high-quality, fully custom jerseys for niche sports communities like cornhole, darts, billiards, axe throwing, softball, and more.
We’ve been part of these communities for years. We’re not a mass-produced overseas company—we design, print, and produce everything right here in the USA, and that difference matters to our customers.
What I’m Looking For:
I’m looking for someone who can help grow the business by actively engaging and building relationships inside Facebook groups and communities where our customers already are.
This is NOT a content posting or scheduling role.
This is a lead generation + outreach + relationship-building role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Finding and joining relevant Facebook groups (cornhole, darts, billiards, league sports, etc.)
Engaging with posts and conversations in a natural, non-spammy way
Building relationships with group members and admins
Identifying teams, leagues, and organizers who may need custom jerseys
Starting conversations and moving them toward interest in ordering
Passing leads or helping close team orders
What This Role Is NOT:
Not content calendar management
Not graphic design
Not posting schedules or “30 posts per month”
Not follower growth or vanity metrics
This role is about getting real customers.
Ideal Candidate:
Comfortable starting conversations with people
Understands how Facebook groups and communities work
Has experience in outreach, sales, or lead generation (preferred)
Communicates in a real, human way (not robotic or scripted)
Self-motivated and results-driven
Bonus if you understand or are part of sports communities
Compensation:
Commission-based (per team order or qualified lead)
Optional base for the right person
High earning potential based on performance
This is a “we win together” setup.
