Built my first project in Lovable, and I decided to start with something a little unusual. 🖤
For the @Lovable Booking Challenge, I created BAD COMPANY, a fictional Los Angeles rental company for large-scale animatronic dolls for Halloween parties, private events, and corporate events.
The business is busiest during Halloween season, availability is limited, and the owner is juggling customer inquiries, delivery, setup, pickup, and event logistics at the same time.
A rental like this can easily turn into a long back-and-forth about availability, pricing, event details, setup times, delivery, and pickup.
So I built the entire experience around one simple self-service booking flow.
Customers start by choosing an animatronic, explore all the important details, check available dates, select their event type and setup window, add the event location and contact information, review everything, and confirm.
The booking summary stays visible throughout the process, and the final confirmation includes all event details, the total, booking number, and an option to add it directly to the calendar.
The goal was to turn “Can I book this?” into “You’re booked” while removing as much manual coordination from the owner as possible.
Really happy with how this first Lovable build came together. 🖤
Just finished building FixFlow, a booking management system for an appliance repair service in Austin, Texas!
The goal was simple: turn a customer’s appliance repair problem into a structured job and confirmed appointment while reducing the manual work for the repair business. The system connects the complete workflow in one place:
1. Customer selects the appliance that needs repair
2. Describes the problem and gets an upfront estimate
3. Chooses an available appointment slot
4. Reviews the job details and confirms the booking
5. The owner receives customer details, appliance information, repair details, and appointment time in one place
The owner can also manage upcoming jobs, booking status, calendar updates, and rescheduling from one dashboard.
The goal was to replace the usual back-and-forth messages, calendar checks, confirmations, and manual reminders with a simpler booking experience.
I focused on making the experience simple, clear, and practical rather than just creating another generic booking interface.
This project helped me think more about the actual business problem, user journey, and how a well-designed workflow can reduce repetitive coordination for a small service business.
