We recently built a website for a second-generation landscaping company last month. His father started the business in 1994. He took over 5 years ago. The website was still telling his father's story. Stock photos on the About page. Services they'd stopped offering years ago. A phone number that rang a line nobody picked up anymore. The business had completely evolved - the website just hadn't caught up. He'd grown the team to 15 people, expanded into commercial properties, and started doing high-end residential design work that his father never touched. But none of that existed online. We rebuilt the site around who the company actually is today.
The new team front and centre.
The commercial portfolio with real project photos.
Service areas updated to match where they're actually working now.
A services page that reflects what they're winning work on, not what they used to do. The before and after on this one was one of my favourites. Not because the old site was bad - it served the business well for a long time. But there's something really satisfying about building a site that finally matches the energy of what a business has become.
