A schedule can finish on the required date and still hide a delay.
In the fictional pumping-station example in my portfolio, a mandatory finish date pins commissioning to the deadline even though testing cannot finish first. A missing link also allows installation to ignore whether the structure is ready.
When the logic is corrected, the forecast moves. Nothing on site changed; the programme now shows the consequence of the work sequence.
That is why a schedule review needs more than a count of passing checks. Each finding should connect an activity, its effect on the forecast and a decision for the project team.
The interactive example and sample review note use fictional data. They are not an employer programme, a forensic opinion or a guarantee of delay recovery.
