KlubHaus — Centuries-old art. A new crowd.

What happens when the angels and figures in an ornamental engraving make room for DJs, skaters and selfie-takers?

Starting with public-domain ornamental prints, I built a custom Recraft Style to weave contemporary figures into centuries-old foliage and scrollwork. A second Style combined that engraved foundation with colorful ornamental references; experimenting with crops, reference percentages and prompts brought stronger contrast and more naturally integrated figures.

The resulting series became the visual identity for KlubHaus: a fictional tech store, café and creative hangout where technology, music and skate culture meet. From headphones packaging to coffee cups, bags and skateboard decks, the illustrations move beyond the page into everyday life—with lifestyle imagery and animation bringing the new crowd together.
