I designed and modeled this custom external gear hydraulic pump specifically to power the lifting mechanism of a two-wheel agricultural tractor trailer, enabling efficient loading and unloading.
Because standard off-the-shelf pumps often do not match the specific RPM, space constraints, or power output of small two-wheel tractors, this pump was custom-engineered from the ground up.
Key aspects of this project include:
Complete 3D CAD Assembly: Created a highly detailed 3D model in SolidWorks, ensuring all components fit together with strict manufacturing tolerances.
Component Design: Modeled the complete internal architecture, including the main casing, drive and driven gears, precision bearing blocks, and heavy-duty structural assembly bolts.
Sealing & Fluid Dynamics: Carefully designed the internal routing and integrated O-ring grooves to ensure high-pressure fluid containment without leaks during heavy lifting operations.
Exploded Views: Generated professional exploded assembly views to clearly demonstrate the internal mechanics and aid in the manufacturing and assembly process.
New cover, new visual taste test.
As a visual director, the hardest choice is choosing between your own creations.
Two covers. Two directions. One choice.
🎴 TASTY TEST 06/30: Which travel discovery experience would you choose?
Traveling Up is probably my first mobile concept outside client work in almost three years. It was inspired by a trip where not knowing the destination was part of the fun.
Same app. Same destination. Two ways to discover it.
🤍 A Clean Carousel
Calmer, lighter, more familiar.
💚 B Immersive Deck
Bigger imagery, stronger overlap, more tactile navigation.
Which one makes you want to swipe and see where the app takes you next?
