Real estate in Ethiopia has a trust problem. Illegal brokers often control trades, inflate prices, hide information and stand between buyers and owners. I built Gojomatch to change that.

Gojomatch is a marketplace for renting and selling homes that connects buyers and owners directly. Only verified owners can post listings and their personal details stay confidential. Buyers search by location, budget and amenities and see real photos and 3D models so they know what they’re getting before they visit. When they’re ready, they book a visit for a small fee and a legal, tax-paying broker takes them to the property and helps close the deal. Brokers earn per visit and per closed deal with bonuses for top performers so the work stays fair and transparent.

The app serves three users: buyers/ renters, owners/ sellers and brokers. Base44 made it easy to bring these pieces together into one site that is simple for all three to understand and use. For this project, I used adobe photoshop to make some of the images and illustrations. Then, I made the dot animation and all webapp components with Base44.

I’m relatively new to Base44 and this challenge showed me how quickly an idea can become a working product. I’m grateful to the organizers for creating this opportunity and I look forward to building more with Base44. My goal is to solve a real problem in my country through webapps developed in Base44 and I will continue to use it. So, I plan on improving this webapp so it can save people in my country from illegal broker chains.
