One of my favorite summer projects to date.
This was actually one of my first projects Contra featured on their homepage, which still makes me smile when I think about it.
Midpoint Rec needed an identity that felt relaxed, chic and a little playful. I built a set of illustrations that landed somewhere between doodle and chic. Been wanting to do something in this same spirit again soon.

For #ConfigMakeathon, I created Loodle ✨
Loodle stands for Living Doodle — a playful creative playground inspired by the rise of naïve design, hand-drawn illustrations, and doodles that feel imperfect, personal, and unmistakably human.
As AI-generated visuals become more common, I've noticed more brands and creators embracing hand-drawn aesthetics to bring back personality and authenticity. At the same time, Figma Draw has become one of my favorite tools for sketching ideas, illustrations, and visual notes directly inside the Figma ecosystem.
That got me wondering:
What if doodles could feel a little more alive?
Not full animation.
Not motion graphics.
Just enough movement to preserve the energy and charm of a hand-drawn sketch.
So I built Loodle.
With a simple workflow, creators can draw, add subtle motion, and export animated doodles for all kinds of creative projects.
I can imagine it being used for:

🎨 Branding & Mascots
🎟️ Stickers
📚 Educational Content
📱 Social Media Content
The best part?
I've also shared a community kit with reusable components and templates so anyone can start creating their own comics, stickers, visual journals, and other doodle-based experiments.
