Trust me, confort zone is not doing you any favor. In fact, it's actually slowly killing your potential. We make ourselves believe that you have to be born a natural in order to create something valuable for this society, that if you ever dare to try you are being delusional, and being delusional is the worst of the crimes. By convincing ourselves that it’s better to live under the conventional path, sticking to a 9–5 job, obeying rules, letting our bosses decide how much we earn and when we get holidays to spend with our family, we end up depending on a third party to live the life we want, rather than taking the uncomfortable step of aiming for more. Because that means facing our insecurities. Suddenly, you’re forced to remember everything you believe you’re not good at. And that's the universal truth that we all fall into, that vulnerability is sorting us out and deciding our fate. So, please, take that misplaced jersey back into your closet or the pens back into your pen holder, and sooner than you expect your room will be fixed.
My comfort zone today: being lazy enough to not have prepared breakfast and eaten the leftovers which are more unhealthy than anything I could have prepared. The damage is done. I am over? No, we’re human, and we’re bound to fail, but also to succeed with consistency. How will I make up for it? I’ll prepare a nice, healthy dinner today with salmon and salad. Take a dream, start by the low-hanging fruit and look for efficient ways to achieve. The rest is only up to you.
