PrimeCut Barbershop is a mobile-first booking system I built for Musa, a solo barber in Abuja, Nigeria.
Musa often receives WhatsApp and Instagram messages asking, “Are you free today?” while he is busy serving customers. This creates back-and-forth messages, manual scheduling, and missed appointments.
PrimeCut turns that process into a simple booking flow. Customers can choose a service, select an available date and time, enter their details, and receive an instant booking confirmation.
On the owner side, Musa can manage appointments from a private dashboard, including customer details, booking status, rescheduling and cancellations. The system also includes scheduled reminders to help reduce no-shows and follow up with customers.
The goal is simple: less time managing messages and bookings, and more time serving customers.

Research consistently shows 53% of mobile visitors leave a site that takes more than 3 seconds to load, and 75% of people judge a company's credibility based on its website design alone. That means your website is not just a brochure. On a phone, it is your first impression, your salesperson, and your trust signal, all in about five seconds.
Here is the quick check I run on every site before anything else:
1. Open your own site on a real phone, not just your laptop. Read it the way a customer would.
2. Your headline should say who you help and what you do, without scrolling. If it doesn't, most visitors won't scroll to find out.
3. One clear next step on every page — call, book, or buy — big enough to tap easily.
4. Cut anything that slows the page down: oversized images, unused plugins, and sliders nobody watches.
5. Show proof early: real services, real locations you serve, and a simple way to contact you.
None of this needs a redesign. Most sites we review lose visitors on two or three of these points, and fixing those first usually matters more than a brand-new look.
