The Met has this tiny 1500s ivory bead that hung off a rosary — turn it one way, it's two lovers holding hands. Turn it the other way, same pose, but it's a skeleton. There's even a tiny carved salamander and a plant motif most people miss.
I turned it into a wedding ring for the year 2125, when you can basically choose not to die. The ring looks like an embrace from one side and a skull from the other — same idea, 500 years later, for two people choosing to grow old together instead of living forever.

I liked this shield because of its beautiful pattern and shine. It has a detailed design with a human figure in the middle, made from woven cane and shiny shell pieces. It looked like something made to be seen, not just used.
What I made: I turned the shield into a surfboard, but kept its design exactly the same, same pattern, same shine, same figure. I only changed its shape into a board. I picked a surfboard because its long shape already matches the shield's shape, so it felt like a natural change.
How I made it: I downloaded the Sheild image from Met's open archive, then imported the sheild picture in flora , connected picture with text prompt node, then I connected both picture and text prompt node to the video node and I selected the seedance 2.5 model with 30sec clip, I kept the work flow simple because I am new to flora and I was afraid maybe I may use all the credits before even creating good video, add this in how I made it
Why I made this: I wanted to take this design out of the museum and give it a new life in something people can use and see in motion. I think the shield's pattern is still beautiful enough to belong in The Met today, just now on a different object.

Inspired by an eighteenth-century jewel casket from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, I reimagined the object as an impossible hat worn by a young woman.
Love the sense of depth.
A short story inspired by The Gulf Stream by Winslow Homer (1899).
When I saw this man in the middle of a raging sea, between a waterspout and sharks, I wondered why he was so calm? What kept him alive? That's how the second character, his daughter, and the little bird, a symbol of life and return, emerged. This is a man in dire circumstances and the hope of salvation.
