As a freelancer, I always take care to put in a touch of my personal taste into every project I work on, no matter who it is for.
But designing my own website has been one of the most rewarding projects of the past month. Making a home for my work that reflects it gave me a chance to experiment and figure out ideas the way a child does: through play. Sometimes throwing things at a wall would work out, sometimes a page would be the definition of “trusting the process” until the design finally clicked.
