I think the Contra job thing is completely broken. I have applied for a given job that had a paid task, which I submitted within the 48 hours as required. But the client didn’t open my submission—how the fuck would they know about my application?
Does this mean only pro users get their submissions opened?
I thought this was a good platform to get new, good clients, but after applying to more than 25 jobs, I haven’t had a single client open my submission.
I don’t know how this works. Does anyone have the same problem?
I know my profile is not perfect or highly rated, but at least the client could open the application. Also, there is a stupid feature that doesn’t let me know if I’m rejected—you have to wait until that stupid job is filled or closed.
Can anyone help me? Please tell me if this is a good platform for full-stack developers (I’m not a design guy), and if anyone has actually gotten real clients from Contra.
