Today, I want to share a bit about one of my favorite projects: the Bluetooth Framework.
If you haven't come across it yet, the Bluetooth Framework is a feature-rich library designed for working with Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE on Windows. I’ve been developing and polishing it since 2006. Over the years, it has grown to include a massive amount of functionality that you just can't find in Microsoft's standard, public Win32 and WinRT APIs.
Spending over 20 years diving deep into Windows Bluetooth has been quite a journey, and I’m proud to say I’ve become a true expert in the field. Along the way, I’ve run into just about every bug hidden inside the Windows Bluetooth API—and I’ve made sure to "fix" or work around them in my library. I also know its limitations inside and out, and I've found creative ways to bypass many of them so you don't have to struggle with them.
The best part? The journey isn't over! Even today, there is always room to grow and exciting new features to build. For instance, I am currently hard at work porting the framework to macOS.
If you want to check it out, you can find the Bluetooth Framework right in the products section of my page.
