The Lost Atlas of Tomorrow’ is a cohesive series of nine illustrations that reimagines modern technology as mysterious artifacts from the past. Inspired by a historical engraving of an owl from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, I first refined the reference image in Photoshop and subsequently developed a unique visual style using Recraft. Employing this style, I created illustrations featuring an observatory, an explorer, forgotten maps, a mechanical scout, a smartphone, a delivery drone, and a smartwatch. This project explores how the aesthetic of historical engravings can transform familiar modern objects into discoveries from an alternate history.
